Anytime you win a race where Tyler Roahrig starts and finishes, that is Trophy mantel worthy. That's exactly what Craig Everage did when he took home the trophy Saturday night in the Jim Blount Memorial. Everage led all 75 laps on his quest and ended up with a $3,200 pay day. Everage's victory makes the field wide open leading up to the 15th Annual Summer Sizzler to take place on Thursday, August 4th. After the 3rd leg of our Foremost Transport Summer Sizzler series, we have had 3 different winners. Brent Jack won the 1st, Tyler Roahrig won the 2nd, and now Craig Everage has earned the 3rd.
Jack Landis finished 2nd followed by the best battle of the race, Tyler Roahrig edging Bobby Stremme for 3rd with the 2 of them side by side for most of the race. JR Roahrig rounded out the top 5.
Darrel Click took home the checker in the Hobby Stocks main over a hard charging Travis Schlabach. Cameron Schlabach finished 3rd after leading a majority of the race.
Anthony Kiser won the FWD feature in his new car with points leader, Jason Harman, coming in 2nd followed by Jerime Damron finishing an impressive 3rd.
Kevin Allen bounced back from an early race caution that sent him to the pits to win the Mini Stock feature. Patrick Allen finished 2nd followed by Craig Johnson.
Next Saturday night, July 16th, the race to the chase continues with the return of the Late Model Sportsmans, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and FWD's. Gates open at 1pm and racing at 7pm.
