SCHLABACH MAKES IT BACK-TO-BACK; VANCE EARNS FIRST SPORTSMAN VICTORY

Travis Schlabach came from the back of the pack to win in a very talented Hobby Stock field. Rick Waterson led most of the race but couldn't hold off Schlabach after a late race restart. Waterson would end up coming home 5th. Eric Kiser finished 2nd, followed by Ron Manyard and Steve Williams. Fast qualifier, Rodney Spencer, would call it a night after a caution on lap 25 and finished 12th.

Mark Vance took home his first ever win in the Late Model Sporstsman series after charging to the front and holding off Kevin Gunkel and Donny Klotz to the finish line. Gunkel finished 2nd followed by Klotz 3rd, fast qualifier Mike Cannon 4th and Austin Manyard finished 5th. Points leader Nick Stremme placed 7th.

The Mini Stocks race was dominated by the Allen brothers as Kevin Allen won again to widen his points lead and Patrick Allen finished 2nd. Chad Wiser finished a close 3rd, followed by Eric Frazier and BJ Blair.

Jason Harman made it back to back wins in the FWD division with Chris Sabin coming in 2nd followed by Sheldon Lindlag. Fast qualifier, Anthony Kiser finished 4th followed by Steve Key.

The battles continue on a special night this week. The Foremost Transport Super Late Models will make their return to the track this Friday, June 17th, going 75 laps for $2,000 to win. The fast 4 qualifiers will be going for $3,000 to win.

Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and FWD's will also be racing for this special Father's Day weekend event. Gates open at noon, group qualifying/hot laps at 4pm and racing at 7pm. The Super Late Models will take the track at 9pm for the Father's Day Tribute 75 lapper.
