STREMME, KISER PICK UP FIRST WINS OF THE SEASON

Nick Stremme was well overdue and Saturday night he accomplished his feat from setting fast time and winning the Elite Distributor's Late Model Sportsman's feature from the tail of the pack. Stremme made a late race pass on the outside of Mark Vance after a restart and held off Donny Klotz to take the checkered.

Eric Kiser also set fast time earlier in the day and won from the tail of the Promotor's Hobby Stock main to tighten the gap between himself and points leader Ron Maynard. Travis Schlabach came in second, followed by Ron Maynard.

Kevin Allen won the crash filled Hoosier House Furnishing's Mini Stock main to widen his points lead. Eric Frazier ended up 2nd and Sophomore driver Patrick Allen took home 3rd.

Chris Sabin held on to win the RXR Extreme FWD feature with one of the more impressive races of the night. The 18 car field went green to checkered with no cautions. Chris Harman came in 2nd, followed by Doug Miller.

Next Saturday night, May 28th, the points battles heat up with the Late Model Sportsmans going 50 laps for $1,000 to win. Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and FWD's will be having thier Memorial races and we will be lighting up the sky with the area's best fireworks show.
