Tyler Roahrig may not have been the fastest car on the property as Corey Ryman took that honor in qualifying, but there was no denying Tyler had the best car in the race. After Ryman threw his 3 dice to set the inversion at 6, Tyler had to start inside row 3. The inversion landed Brent Jack on the pole and he built up a half track lead on the field before breaking a water pump and taking his ride to the pits on lap 15. After Brent surrendered the lead to Jack Landis, the race would see its final lead change on lap 30 when Tyler got around Landis and never gave up the lead the rest of the way. Landis would finish a strong 2nd, followed by JR Roahrig, Andy Bozell and Kenny Whitman.
Ron Maynard, who finished 15th in the Sizzler, pulled double duty and won the $1,000 to win Hobby Stock main earlier in the night. Fast time and points leader Travis Schlabach had to leave the track on lap 31 due to problems and that left the door open for 2nd place Bobby Schisler to narrow his gap in the points race. Richard Courson would finish 3rd followed by Steve Williams and Bobby Schisler III.
